IV Sedation

IV sedation, administered intravenously, is the most customizable form of sedation for patients with moderate to severe dental anxiety. IV sedation takes effect quickly and is personalized to the needs of each patient.

Why Choose an IV Sedation Dentist?

Our goal with IV sedation in West Palm Beach, FL is to make your appointment as efficient, painless, and as comfortable as possible. Tooth extractions are relatively simple procedures and rarely lead to complications. Commonly,  extractions can be completed with local anesthetic, though we will provide additional sedation options to help you feel relaxed. During the actual extraction process, you will only feel a slight pressure as the tooth is removed. After extractions, it will take a few days for your body to recover and swelling to go down. We will provide detailed instructions at your appointment, so you will know what to expect as you heal. If you are concerned about tooth extractions, we welcome you to contact our office for an appointment! Many times, assurance that the procedure is fast, safe, and eliminates chronic tooth pain for good is all our patients need to feel comfortable pursuing care with us.

We offer IV sedation for the following reasons:

  • Highly customizable
  • Controlled and effective
  • Takes effect quickly
  • Little-to-no side effects
  • Procedure amnesia
  • Minimal or no nausea
  • Faster recovery time
